These booking and cancellation terms apply to appointments arranged through Touch of Orient Massage.
Touch of Orient Massage provides the premises, booking support, facilities and administrative support for independent self-employed therapists operating from our premises. Treatments are provided directly by the selected therapist.
When booking online, card details may be securely captured by our booking provider to secure your appointment and protect the selected therapist against late cancellations or non-attendance.
Card details are not stored directly by Touch of Orient Massage.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give as much notice as possible.
More than 24 hours’ notice
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours before the appointment time can be moved to a new available appointment without an additional cancellation charge.
Less than 24 hours’ notice
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the appointment will be subject to a charge of 50% of the appointment cost.
Less than 2 hours’ notice or no-show
If you cancel less than 2 hours before your appointment, or do not attend, you will be charged 100% of the appointment cost.
Any cancellation or no-show charge may be collected by Touch of Orient Massage as booking administrator on behalf of the selected independent therapist.
For telephone, email or in-person bookings, card details or a booking deposit may be required to secure the appointment.
Where a deposit is taken, it is used to secure the selected therapist’s appointment time. Deposits are generally non-refundable but may be transferred to a new appointment if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment time may result in the deposit being retained.
Gift voucher appointments may be rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice, subject to therapist availability.
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment time will result in 50% of the booking value being deducted from the voucher.
No-shows may result in the gift voucher being treated as used and no longer available for rearrangement.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
Package appointments may be rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice, subject to therapist availability.
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment time will result in 50% of one treatment value being deducted from the package.
No-shows may result in one treatment being deducted from the package.
Packages are non-refundable.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, the selected therapist may need to reduce the treatment time so that later appointments are not affected. The full appointment fee may still apply.
Cancellation, deposit and no-show charges are designed to protect the selected therapist’s reserved appointment time. Touch of Orient Massage may assist with booking administration, payment processing and communication, but the treatment is provided directly by the selected independent therapist.
